Our Preferred

Providers

Pacific Pines Dental is a specially selected and preferred provider for Medibank Private, BUPA, HCF and CBHS. If you are a member of these health funds, we are able to provide high quality dentistry at generally lower fees, and reduced out-of-pocket expenses compared to non-preferred provider dental practices.

Medibank Private Members:

Most dental treatments have capped prices pre-defined by Medibank Private and members receive a set percentage back of those fees. This could be 55%, 70%, 85% or 100% depending on your level of cover. This provides certainty through known out-of-pocket expenses. As a bonus, members with Top Extras covers receive one free dental check-up, scale and clean, and fluoride treatment per person per calendar year. Members with older extras cover, such as Blue Ribbons Extras or First Choice Extras, receive two free dental check-ups, scale and cleans, and fluoride treatments, per person per calendar year.

BUPA customers:

BUPA members with Extras Cover can receive additional value and certainty through known out-of-pocket expenses when they visit Pacific Pines Dental. Members can expect generally higher set benefits and between 60% and 100% back on most dental services. On selected Extras covers (when combined with hospital cover on a family membership), dependant children under 25 receive no gap dental treatment, excluding orthodontic treatment.

HCF customers:

At Pacific Pines Dental, HCF members receive one or two fully covered dental check-ups, scale and cleans, and fluoride treatment each year depending on your level of cover. Full coverage is also provided for one mouthguard per year, subject to your available limits.

CBHS customers:

CBHS members receive two free dental check-ups, scale and clean, and fluoride treatments per year provided these services are six months apart.

Benefits are subject to member’s level of cover, annual limits and waiting periods. Please check with your specific health fund for further details, updates or changes.

Additional preferred providers include the Australian Government Department of Veteran Affairs.
